A Night at the Movies — ESF Secondary Music Festival

Join us for an extraordinary evening of musical excellence as young, talented performers from seven ESF secondary schools come together on one stage at Tsuen Wan Town Hall on 23 September.

The ESF Secondary Music Festival is a celebration of everything our students achieve when they make music together — across schools, genres, and languages. The Symphony Orchestra, Sinfonia Strings, Big Band, Concert Band, Junior Choir and Senior Choir will take audiences on a journey through some of the best-loved music of stage and screen, from “The Lord of the Rings” and “Wicked” to Hong Kong's own 獅子山下 ("Below the Lion Rock"). The evening also shines a light on our students' own creativity, featuring a winner of our Composition Competition and the Piano Concerto competition, as well as a brand-new choral work commissioned especially for the Festival.
